Yakol began with a whisper from God on January 18, 2015, a burden, a scripture, and a sense of urgency. As I prayed, He reminded me of an assignment He gave me in 2010: young people.
By February 1, He led me to Eruwa, a town I had never heard of. But He said, “Begin.” I obeyed. I visited in March, and by June 13, I left all else behind and relocated. On June 15, Yakol Ministry officially began.
From our free tutorial center to prayer meetings that stirred revival, it was a season of planting and pruning. Many young lives found direction, and the fruits continue to speak.
Today, Yakol is a youth-focused movement, discipling, mentoring, equipping, and mobilizing young people for Christ through meetings, media, and missions
We’re not building fame. We’re raising a people. Redirected, repositioned, and ready. Let’s labour while it is still day.

Gathering of Champions 2025
Gathering of Champions is a camp meeting for youth and young adults hosted by YAKOL Ministry aka The Overcomer's Family kick-started in 2016, with the aim to redirect and reposition destinies for a life of all-round triumph. In this 7th edition, God"s promise to us is Divine Reset. It will take place between 28th - 30th August, 2025.

YASOD is more than a school, it’s a divine training ground for young people who are hungry for more.
This 3-month, tuition-free discipleship experience is built to equip spiritually committed youths with deep scriptural truths, godly values, and practical tools to live purposefully and serve effectively. Every course is prayerfully curated to stir hunger, build depth, and trigger transformation that lasts beyond the classroom
